About the Artist:
Alice has been sketching with the Urban Sketchers Singapore since 2013. She works full-time in a non-art-related field. In her free time, she collects memories of landscapes and architecture through her sketches and shares her art journey on YouTube (alicelimwanders). About the Workshop:
Want to draw a street scene but overwhelmed by complicated architecture? Try drawing a shopfront first! Shopfronts are good starting point as there is only one point perspective. They are made up of standard elements and fun to draw. Once you have mastered the basics, you can join them up to make a street scene.
In this workshop, you will learn how to draw a shopfront, add shop elements (such as furniture, people, and vehicles) and use mixed media (watercolour and gouache) to add colours and depth to your drawing. I will cover these techniques in an in-depth demo and guide you along to apply them in your final piece.
What is included in this Workshop:
All participants will receive high quality products consist of pens, water-colour paper, brushes and paints to bring back after the workshop.
